According to me, the involvement of the United States in the Vietnam War was justified and I am in its favor. One of the major reasons the attack of North Vietnamese in international waters at Gulf of Tonkin. An intentional torpedo was activated at the USS Maddox and thus, the United States took the call of joining the Vietnam War. Also, the United States was a trusted ally of the South Vietnamese and leaving them on their fate would have a negative impact on their credibility in the entire world as a genuine and faithful ally.
